Carrot leads crowd

The march has officially left ULU, joining crowds from Birbeck
following on to meet UCL. With whistles and chants “no if no buts no
education cuts”.

Among the crowd is a 7ft papier mache . A member of the precarious
workers brigade spreads the message in the crowd “the carrot
symbolises the carrot in front of a donkey and we are going to deliver
the carrot back to parliament and our slogan is take back the carrot
an shove it.”

The message here is that student interns are working as free labour.
They hand out plaquards featuring slogans such as “free labour isn’t
