RHUL bus leaves for central London

160 Students from Students Union Royal Holloway University of London are making their way to the National Demonsttration against cuts. A vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere can be found on the coach.

Doug German, Equality and liberation officer said “Cuts will be destructively negative for minority groups, people we can’t let slip through the gaps”.

Further inclusion representation senate member, Oliver Parsons echoed this “I want to live in a progressive society and I think anybody who is not happy with the cuts should make their voice heard”.

Katie Blow, a 3rd year psychology student said “the time to stand up for ourselves is now, if we don’t do it, it won’t just be us that suffers but the next generations”. Royal Holloway Students Union are excited to see how the day unfolds with this being a novel experience for the majority of those on board the coach.
