UCLU sabb OK with Millbank protests ‘as long as they don’t unreasonably endanger people’

UCLU Education & Campaigns officer Michael Chessum said: “I’m alright with these protests so long as they don’t unreasonably endanger people.”

“It’s the inevitable reaction to the situation. It’s a response to an attack on the welfare state.”

“These people aren’t bonkers, they’re reacting to something.”
