VP Aberdeen College gives her two cents

Aberdeen College prepare at ULU

Vice President Student Support of Aberdeen College Lani Baird strongly supports todays DEMO.

She said: “Students are facing the toughest year in a lifetime. EMA has been obliterated. ALG (adult learning grant) is under threat and basically the student support system is crumbling around us. The fact of the matter is, things will get worse before it gets better. So, we won’t stand by meekly and accept these attacks on students. Now is the time to do something. Now is the time to stand up and be heard and that’s why we’re marching in London today.”

She commented on the headline saying: “The government will want to take my two cents as well soon.”
